About Katie Bingner
Background & Professional Experience
Hey there, I'm Katie and I appreciate you stopping in to learn a bit more about me!
I am a seeker. I explore life with curiosity and love trying new things. This characteristic has lead me down many paths in life, all of which have taught me poignant lessons and allowed me to develop valuable skills. With a background in performing arts, I am able to channel my vivacity into counseling, coaching, teaching and presenting content that I am deeply passionate about in ways that engage and motivate clients and audiences, alike.
Prior to becoming a Licensed Therapist, I spent nine years as a Licensed Massage Therapist. I am deeply grateful for the years of experience caring for others in such a unique way. my time as an LMT was invaluable for helping me attune to those I care for in ways that don’t require words. It also provided me with a robust knowledge of different Complimentary & Alternative treatment modality benefits, such as acupuncture, aromatherapy, craniosacral therapy, somatic experiencing and yoga. Today, this allows me to help all my clients explore and experiment with a wholistic approach to growth and healing.
I’ve been working as a licensed mental health therapist since 2015. Today I enjoy communication coaching, providing continuing education and trainings, blogging and presenting as well! In my clinical practice I work with individuals who need non-judgmental support and help coping with different forms of anxiety, relationship and communication issues, identity development, complex grief, and unresolved trauma.
My coaching practice, Katie Bingner Coaching, LLC, is a non-clinical, short-term service that offers clients support, structure and skills training to help them not only communicate better, but to discover a sense of self-empowerment that will ultimately help to strengthen connection, intimacy, and mutual respect in important relationships.
Whether I am coaching or counseling, I’m always thrilled to be able to offer reliable support, sincere compassion and essential skills that make my client's lives better!
